Course Requirements
- Must hold a Private Pilot Certification
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
- Must have at least a Class 3 FAA Airman Medical Certificate
- Flight Training Requirements:
- 250 hours total flight time, of which
- 100 pilot in command
- 50 hours total cross-country
- 20 hours of flight training, which must include:
- 10 hours instrument flight training and 10 hours in a complex aircraft
- 1 - 2 hour cross-country flight during daytime conditions with 1 straight line distance of 100NM
- 1 - 2 hour cross-country flight during night time conditions
- 10 hours of solo flight or 10 hours of pilot in command with an authorized instructor
- 1 cross-country flight of 300NM with 3 landings and with 1 straight line distance of 250NM
- 5 hours VFR flight time during night time conditions at an airport with a control tower
- 10 take-offs and landings during night time conditions at an airport with a control tower
- Receive appropriate Ground Instruction
- Must pass a FAA written exam
- Must pass a FAA practical exam
