Course Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
- Must have at least a Class 3 FAA Airman Medical Certificate
- 40 hours total flight time, which must include:
- 20 hours flight training from an authorized instructor
- 3 hours of cross-country flight training
- 3 hours of night time flight training, which must include:
- 1 cross-country flight of over 100NM total
- 10 take-offs and landings to full stop
- 3 hours of flight training maneuvering by reference of instruments only
- 10 hours of solo flight time, which must include:
- 5 hours cross-country of which 1 flight must be 150NM
- 3 take-offs and landings at an airport with a control tower
- Receive appropriate Ground Instruction
- Must pass a FAA written exam
- Must pass a FAA practical exam
